Case
The skeletal remains of a white female were found by a hunter about one mile east of the Brodie Road and Bamfield Road intersection on October 26, 1994. The remains were estimated to have been at the site for 1 to 4 years.
A Radford University article has stated serial killer Larry DeWayne Hall is a suspect in her case. Hall is speculated to be responsible for the disappearances up to forty-five women during the 1980s and 1990s. He is currently incarcerated at a North Carolina federal prison.
Characteristics
- She had light brown hair, possibly with a red tint.
- Two thoracic vertebrae were collapsed. The injury was healed.
- Healed fracture of the left humerus above the elbow. This fracture was healed but did not appear to be set correctly.
