Alameda County Jane Doe was a woman whose partial skeletal remains were found in a creek bed in Castro Valley, California, in 1983.
Case[]
The decedent's remains were found by a jogger who spotted her skull in an isolated creek bed. Deputies came to the scene and discovered more of her bones partially buried over a 20-foot area. They believed her body had been dumped or buried there, but animals had disturbed the remains. There was some trauma to the skull, but it could not be determined if this happened before or after death.
