Ada Beth Kaplan was a woman whose nude body was discovered in a vineyard in Kern County, California.
She was identified by the DNA Doe Project in January 2024.
Case[]
Kaplan's naked body was found in a vineyard in Arvin, California, on March 29, 2011. Her head and thumbs were missing and her body was drained of blood. Law enforcement officers attending the scene described it as "creepy" and looking "very clean", like a mannequin had had its head removed and been posed on a dirt road.
She was identified in 2024 as Ada Beth Kaplan of Canyon Country, California. She was never reported missing.
