Achicourt John Doe was a soldier of the 2nd Battalion Canadian Infantry who died on September 2, 1918.
Based on the circumstances, he was likely killed in action during the Battle of Drocourt-Quéant Line, in which Canadian and British soldiers, starting on September 2, 1918, attacked the German line of defense and managed to cause the Germans to retreat 40 miles to the Hindenburg Line.
He is buried at the Achicourt Road Cemetery in Achicourt.
