Accomack County John Doe was a man whose remains were found in Virginia and Maryland in the summer of 1995. 250 men have been ruled out as the decedent.
Case[]
On June 27, a shoe with a human foot inside was found in Assateague State Park, Maryland. On June 30, a leg was found in Accomack County, Virginia. On July 4, another human foot was found in Maryland. A headless, limbless torso was found in the Chincoteague Bay on August 14. All the remains were determined to belong to the same man.
