

Śliwice Jane Doe was a woman found murdered in a field drain in Śliwice, Opole Voivodeship, Poland which is now called Otmuchów.
Her killer was identified as Szczepan W., a convicted serial killer and rapist who now serves life in prison.
Case[]
At the end of 2004 in Śliwice, now called Otmuchów, Opole Voivodeship, one of the local farmers came across a badly decomposed body of a woman located in a field drain. The woman was murdered between 10 July and 6 August 2000 during the “Summer of flowers“, a regional festival focused on decorative plants that takes place annually in Otmuchów.
Her killer was identified as Szczepan W., a serial rapist and killer active during the “Summer of flowers” festival in 2000. He was convicted in 2002 of killing Krystyna C. and Władysława Ś., and later connected to the case of the Śliwice Jane Doe. He is now serving life imprisonment.
